State Street was utterly, unapologetically fantastic! From the moment we walked in, the whole place felt like a slow exhale - dim, intimate, and humming with that quiet confidence only great restaurants have. The food was sensual in the best way. Every bite had intention. Layers. A little tease, a little surprise. The kind of flavors that make you lean back for a second because your body needs a moment to process what just happened! The cocktails? Seductive. Smooth. Crafted with the kind of precision that makes you feel seen. And the service carried the whole experience with ease - attentive without hovering, warm without trying too hard. State Street doesn’t shout. It doesn’t need to. It pulls you in, keeps you close, and leaves you thinking about it long after you’ve walked out the door. Absolutely fantastic

A nice place to visit. Good ambience. Might be a little loud for some. My group loved their food. I'm not too excited about my steak and eggs. It came in a bowl all mixed. Good flavor but too greasy for me. The shrimp and grits was really good.

Came here on a date night - the lively yet intimate atmosphere was a great setting. The food was amazing - salad had a great variety of vegetables that worked perfectly with the dressing. Catch of the day (snapper) was super fresh and on top of one of the most delicious cream sauces I’ve tried, and the cauliflower side was the perfect combination of sweet, savory, spicy and tangy. Highly recommended

This place is beautiful inside, the workers were very friend and welcoming. My husband and I walked in after 5 and we were able to get a table without a reservation. The food was super tasty and fresh.

We loved our visit here. Our server Dana was very attentive, explained in detail the special food and drinks they. He was a very great server. My girlfried had the mixed drink and the hamburger mixed with brisket that made it melt in your mouth. Best burger she has had in a very long time. I had the old fashioned of the week. I forgot the name, but it was very good. The pan seared grouper was a special dish of the week. It came with mashed potatoes, asparagus and the topping was strawberries the worked very well with the dish. You would have to try it to understand. Dana also told us they serve brunch. We will definitely be back. We enjoyed every moment there.

Great food and impeccable service at the heart of downtown Sarasota. The beet burrata salad and the pork iberico are my personal highlights. Prices are in line with other fine dining options in the area. Very good overall experience and we want to go back to try the burgers.

We had dinner here tonight. It was excellent. Antonio was our server, he was great. The food was outstanding. I had the sweet potato gnocchi and my hubby had the shrimp and grits. It was delicious. I highly recommend checking it out. Great atmosphere too!

This is a small & popular venue so made reservations for 2 outside. We arrived a bit early but since our table was reserved, we were seated right away. I jad the steak & frite ( Wagyu beef) & my boyfriend had shrimp & grits. Healthy portions & cooked perfectly. We sat outside.
